AC 6930 - Tax Capstone

This course is designed for accounting students in preparation for the new and modified section Tax Compliance and Planning section of the Uniform Certified Public Accounting exam starting in January of 2024. In addition to demonstrating knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, candidates are required to demonstrate the skills required to apply that knowledge in performing accounting functions and other tasks as certified public accountants. Topics to be covered but not limited to include: Cost Recovery, Gross Income Adjustments, Itemized Deductions, Tax Credits.
Prerequisite: AC 6675 .
