This undergraduate certificate program provides students the opportunity for concentrated studies to enhance professional skills. Rockhurst University awards a certificate in Journalism to non-degree-seeking students who complete the equivalent of the minor in Journalism.
The courses required for the certificate in Journalism are:
A grade of C or better is required for each upper-division course for the certificate. (A grade of C- will not satisfy the requirement.) The certificate in Journalism is not available to degree-seeking students seeking a minor in Journalism. Admission to the program requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Students with previous college work should request that an official transcript be sent to the Office of Admission.
