Graduate education is characterized by advanced study in a selected discipline or interdisciplinary program. Hallmarks of a graduate education include integration of information related to both theory and practice, advanced analytical skills, disciplined inquiry and refined communication skills. Rockhurst University’s graduate programs build on the institution’s Catholic and Jesuit traditions, emphasizing excellence in values-based education and developing leaders committed to service for others.
Rockhurst University offers both graduate degrees and certificate programs to enhance one’s personal and professional development. The College of Health and Human Services has curricula leading to a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Master of Occupational Therapy, and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The College of Arts and Sciences has curricula leading to a Doctor of Education, a Master of Education, and a Pre-Medical Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program. The College of Business, Influence, and Information Analysis has curricula leading to a Master of Business Administration, an Executive MBA Program, a Master of Arts in Management, a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Analytics, as well as several Certificates of Graduate Studies. In collaboration with Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences Doctor of Osteopathy progam, the Helzberg School of Management offers a dual degree DO/MBA.
