PY 3410 - Child Development

This course focuses on human development from conception to puberty. The main goal of the course is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of typical changes during childhood that are based on fundamental principles of development. Interactions between physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of development are examined. Emphasis is placed on theory and research as sources of knowledge.

Prerequisite: PY 1000 .
