BL 3350 - Plant Biology

Course is offered fall semesters.

Introduction to the structure, physiology, classification, and phylogeny of the plant kingdom. C3, C4, and CAM photosynthetic pathways will be compared to illustrate the diversity of plants.  Primary and popular literature will be read and discussed to provide insight into the world of plants.

Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in BL 1300 /BL 1301  or instructor approval.
Corequisite: BL 3351 .
