PY 3810 - Psychology and Law (3) Psychology and Law focuses on how the application of theories, methods, and research findings in psychology can contribute to a better understanding of questions and issues related to law and the legal system. Topics may include forensic hypnosis, eyewitnesses, interrogations and confessions, criminal profiling, prediction of dangerousness, competencies, criminal responsibility/insanity, jury decision-making, and sentencing decisions, among other.
Prerequisite: PY 1000 or PY 1100 .
