CT 3010 - Leadership and Communication

This course examines how leadership is a communicative phenomenon, utilizing case studies, simulations, current events, and assessments to explore how leadership is envisioned, shared, and implemented through communication.  The role of theory will be central in our discussions of leadership practices in multiple organizational contexts. Keeping in mind that key skills employers seek in graduating students include critical thinking, innovative synthesis and organizing of information, and collaboration, student participation in group work and class discussions is paramount.
 

Prerequisite: Fulfillment of the Eloquentia Perfecta Oral Communication Requirement
