EN 3170 - Writing With Style: Advanced Composition

Writing With Style offers a heightened attention to the shape of the English sentence. In this writing course, students will develop their writing by examining sentences in terms of their grammatical structure and stylistic principles, by studying larger prose works in terms of vocabulary, structure, and rhetorical context, and by applying this analysis to their own writing.

Prerequisite: EN 1110 /EN 1120 , or EN 1140 , or EN 1150 .
