NUR 3110 - Healthcare and the LGBTQ Community

This 8-week online course is designed to inform and empower health science students to work with clients who identify across the gender spectrum. This class examines diverse concepts, including terminology and health care disparities experienced by members of the LGBTQ community. This course aims to give students the knowledge and communication tools needed to provide quality care to the LGBTQ client.
