NUR 3990 - Ambulatory Nursing (2) Summer
Ambulatory nursing is designed for students to discover and examine ambulatory nursing settings, including specific roles and responsibilities. Students will complete clinicals in the ambulatory setting to explore professional opportunities, while developing essential competencies. Students will develop a foundation for essential knowledge, skills, and competencies, including professional mentoring and networking, to promote success as an ambulatory nurse. Students will complete 90 hours of ambulatory clinicals with additional content presented in an online format.
Prerequisite: This course is for students who have completed J2 or S1 semesters. Students must have exemplary clinical performance and approval by the BSN Clinical Lead for enrollment.
