CT 3150 - Business Communication (3) Business Communication provides students with communication principles, concepts, and techniques which are essential components for effective organizational behavior that advance an organization’s objectives in oral, written, and nonverbal communication situations. It involves understanding the audience, creating the message, and using the most effective channels to deliver it. Topics include communicating with purpose and relevance; types of business writing; writing formats; report formats; research data; interpersonal communication; clarity of thought; setting the appropriate tone and voice; grammar and sentence structure; and team consistency in writing.
Prerequisite: Fulfillment of the Eloquentia Perfecta Oral Communication Requirement Core Curriculum: (CT, IAC)
