HP 4900 - Practicum in Health Science

Health Science majors participate in an internship in a health or business-related agency. Students will participate in 100 hours of practicum experience.  Throughout the practicum course students will complete assignments for course instructor and participate in assigned tasks at selected agency.  Students should complete HP 4500 the semester prior to taking the practicum, which is typically completed during the last semester of their program.  Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a 2.0 GPA in their major before proceeding in the practicum.

Prerequisite: HP 4500 ; senior standing; instructor approval.
