NUR 3330 - Caring for Clients at Camp

This course prepares the student with the knowledge and opportunity to practice the basics of camp nursing. The focus will be on exploring the roles of the camp nurse, such as: pre-camp preparation, prevention of injury and illness, common practices of a camp health center, medication administration, administration of first aid, record keeping and documentation, plus post-camp responsibilities. 

Prerequisite: Completion of all first semester nursing coursework (J1 semester).
