PAS 1000 - The Art of Performance

In this course, students will be introduced to a special topic in the performing arts culminating in one or more public performances.  Students will be led through the creative and performance process to explore self-expression, embodied practice, and feedback and analysis.  Topics covered will include: artistic inspiration, creative thinking, collaboration, movement and space, sound and voice, terminology, text, performance research, and critical reception.  The performance discipline will vary by semester.
