CT 6050 - Professional Presentation Development and Delivery

This course provides an in-depth exploration of the strategies and techniques essential for designing and delivering effective professional presentations. Students will learn how to develop compelling narratives, incorporate visual aids, and adapt their communication style to various audiences. Listening will be emphasized not only as a skill for understanding the audience’s feedback but also as a means to enhance engagement in Q&A sessions. The course emphasizes mastering verbal and nonverbal communication skills and utilizing technology to enhance presentations. Through practical exercises, peer feedback, and real-world simulations, students will refine their ability to present complex information clearly, persuasively, and confidently, while also honing their active listening skills to foster dialogue and connection.
