PY 6100 - Advanced Research Methods & Statistics I

This course provides a broad overview of the major research methodologies and statistical methods used to analyze and interpret quantitative data. Topics include foundational concepts across the behavioral sciences and the evaluation of specific methodologies. Practical research considerations are also covered (e.g., basics of APA writing, data management and data cleaning, development of experimental protocols, etc.). The course will focus on the implementation of statistical methods for experimentation, research, and data-driven decision-making. Students will have the opportunity to explore practice data sets to apply the newly learned methods of analysis.
