The major concentration in Physics of Medicine Pre-Professional leading to a Bachelor of Science degree consists of 16 upper-division hours of physics and 9 hours of upper-division additional required courses. The Physics of Medicine Pre-Professional Major Track is intended for students interested in attending graduate school in healthcare/medicine.
Per university requirements, students must also choose additional upper-division coursework to complete the major requirement of 30 hours of upper-division coursework. Students are advised to work with their advisor to choose these hours to complete coursework necessary for graduate school entrance requirements. A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course counted toward fulfillment of the major requirements. (A grade of C- will not satisfy this requirement.)
