The Certificate of Graduate Study in Advanced Leadership at the Helzberg School of Management focuses on experienced, executive-potential, candidates and is done in conjunction with the Executive MBA program.
Certificate Objectives
Certificate of Graduate Study in Advanced Leadership is designed for professionals holding management positions who are looking for specialized development in management and leadership practice. Students enroll in designated Executive MBA courses and have full access to the materials, instruction, and support provided Executive MBA students. Certificate students must be sponsored by their employer to gain admission to the program.
Admission Requirements
The Certificate of Graduate Study in Advanced Leadership is open to any practicing manager who holds a baccalaureate or higher degree and is sponsored by their employer. The employer must fill out a referral form for the designated applicant(s).
Certificate Credit Hours
The certificate is a 12-credit hour program. Certificate students can apply credits earned from the certificate to count toward a Helzberg School MBA degree program. No previous credits can be applied to this program as substitutes for the program courses.
Curriculum
Courses in the Certificate of Graduate Study in Advanced Leadership are delivered in concert with courses offered for Executive MBA students during the second year of that degree program.
