The Physics Major track is recommended for those students considering a career or graduate studies in areas such as science, engineering, or quantitative finance.

Choose a minimum of one course from the following list: work with your advisor to choose appropriate pre-requisites and courses for your graduate school or career path.

Total Upper-Division Hours Required for Physics Major: 31 hours


Note:


Per university requirements, students must choose additional upper-division coursework to complete the major requirement of 30 hours of upper-division coursework. Students are advised to work with their advisor to choose these hours to complete coursework necessary for graduate school entrance requirements. A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course counted toward fulfillment of the major requirements. (A grade of C- will not satisfy this requirement.)
