Successful completion of the Criminal Justice program requires a criminal background check prior to an internship placement. The presence of any criminal conviction on a student’s record may affect his/her eligibility for participating in the internship, completing the degree and/or securing a job in the field. For further information see Department of Criminal Justice.
Students must also take 12 additional hours of upper division non-CJ coursework. All courses should be selected in consultation with an advisor.
A minimum grade of C or better is required in all upper division coursework of the major. (A grade of C- will not fulfill the requirement).
