Theatre Arts Minor

The liberal arts theatre minor consists of a minimum of 15 credit hours in theatre courses.

Choose one course to complete 3 lower division credit hours:

TA 1100 - Stage Movement: Basics (3)
TA 1200 - Acting I (3)
TA 1300 - Introduction to Technical Theatre (3)

Choose from the following to complete 9 upper division credit hours:

TA 3000 - Script Analysis (3)
TA 3100 - Stage Movement: Mask and Body (3)
TA 3201 - Musical Theatre (3)
TA 3202 - Shakespeare for Actors (3)
TA 3203 - Voice for Actors (3)
TA 3250 - Directing (3)
TA 3301 - Improvisation (3)
Students must also complete 3 hours of Theatre Practicum.

A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course of the minor. (A grade of C- will not satisfy the requirement.)
