• PH 2710 - Physics for the Life Sciences Lab I (1)

• PH 2750 - Physics for the Life Sciences II (3) and
• PH 2760 - Physics for the Life Sciences Lab II (1)

Or Physics for Scientists and Engineers:

• PH 2850 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers I (3) and
• PH 2860 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers Laboratory I (1)

•   and

• PH 2940 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers II (3) and
• PH 2920 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers Laboratory II (1)

Required Upper-Division Courses for Physics of Medicine Pre-Professional Track:

• PH 3200 - Physics of the Body I (3)
• PH 3210 - Physics of the Body II (3)
• PH 3240 - Physics of Medical Imaging (3)

• PH 4400 - Optics in Medicine (3)

• or

• PH 4500 - Modern Physics (3)

• PH 4900 - Statistics for the Health Sciences (3)

• or

• MT 3260 - Mathematical Modeling (3)

• PH 4940 - Research Physics Capstone (1-3)

Additional Required Courses:

MT 1800 - Calculus I   Prerequisite for PH 3210 , PH 3240  and PH 4900  (may be taken concurrently with instructor approval).

Note:

Per university requirements, students must also choose additional upper-division coursework to complete the major requirement of 30 upper-division credit hours. Students are advised to work with their advisor to choose these hours to complete coursework necessary for graduate school entrance requirements. A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course counted toward fulfillment of the major requirements. (A grade of C- will not satisfy this requirement.)
