Upper Division Requirements:
The major concentration in history consists of 21 semester hours of upper-division work, including the required: Also Required:
Also required are 12 semester hours of related upper-division courses chosen under the direction of the major advisor. The student should consult closely with the history department chair in arranging the major program of study. Lower Division Requirements:

Also required are two semesters of college-level study in one language other than English. This requirement may be fulfilled by completing two semesters of college-level literature in one language other than English. In either case, the language courses must be taken for college-level credit. [Neither College Level Examination Program (CLEP) nor Advanced Placement (AP) exams fulfill this requirement.] A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course of the major. (A grade of C- will not satisfy the requirement.) |
