Lower Division Requirements:

Lower division courses required: 6 credits

Students will demonstrate competence in a minimum of two differing media, chosen from the following:

  • Drawing and Design
  • Sculpure
  • Painting
  • Ceramics
  • Photography
  • Digital Imaging and Design

Choose two from the following:

Upper Division Requirements:

Upper division courses - 12 credits

Students will complete 12 credits in upper-level coursework in the two areas studied in the lower-division courses. This may occur by either:

a) taking two upper division courses and repeating each one for credit (for example, taking Painting II and Ceramics II, then repeating the two courses for additional credit); or

b) taking two upper division courses, repeating one for additional credit, and then taking an Independent Study course in the preferred medium (for example, taking Painting II and Ceramics II, then repeating Painting II for credit, and taking an Independent Study course in Painting.)

Each of the following may be repeated once for additional credit, or an independent study course may also be taken to complete the 12 upper-division credits required:
