Curriculum
The Rockhurst MBA normally consists of a minimum 30 semester hours beyond the Prerequisites, divided into Core Managerial Perspectives and Electives. MBA Prerequisite Courses
Up to 8 hours of prerequisite coursework may be required.
Core Managerial Perspective Courses
All students must take the following 24 hours of graduate coursework as the Core of the program:

Total Core: 24 credit hours
Electives (6-8 hours):
The student pursuing the MBA degree must also choose 6 additional hours of elective credit for the 30-hour degree.
The student pursuing a concentration within the MBA will take 8 prescribed credit hours outside of the Core. Elective hours may be counted toward the concentrations listed below.
Accounting Concentration:
Minimum of 8 hours of 6000-level AC courses outside of the MBA Core.
Finance Concentration:
Minimum of 8 hours of 6000-level FN courses outside of the MBA Core.
Health Care Management Concentration:
Minimum of 8 hours of 6000-level HCM courses outside of the MBA Core. Human Capital Concentration
Minimum of 8 hours of 6000-level Human Capital courses outside of the MBA Core. Examples include HR and Managing People, Cross Culture Management, and Conflict Management and Negotiation.
Management Concentration:
Minimum of 8 hours of 6000-level BIA, MG, or MK courses outside of the MBA Core.
NonProfit Leadership Concentration:
Choose any combination of courses for 9 credit hours:
Organizational Development Concentration
Minimum of 8 hours of 6000-level Organizational Development courses outside of the MBA Core. Examples include Organizational Development and Consulting, Organizational Theory and Design, Organizational Change, and Innovation.
