Successful completion of the Criminal Justice program requires a criminal background check prior to an internship placement. The presence of any criminal conviction on a student’s record may affect his/her eligibility for participating in the internship, completing the degree and/or securing a job in the field. To find which courses will fulfill core requirements, search the Course Schedule by “Attribute Type” to locate courses in the current and upcoming semester that fulfill specific core requirements. The Course Schedule is located on the Rockhurst Registrar’s webpage at www.rockhurst/registrar.

Note:
Students must also take 12 additional hours of upper division non-CJ coursework. All courses should be selected in consultation with an advisor.
A minimum grade of C or better is required in all upper division coursework of the major. (A grade of C- will not fulfill the requirement).
