To help meet the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals, Rockhurst University has joined forces with Saint Louis University to offer a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. This inter-collegiate / disciplinary major incorporates elements of computer science, analytics, criminal justice, intelligence gathering, and risk planning.
Students pursuing this major will complete most coursework on campus at Rockhurst, as well as specific online classes (CYBS) taken through faculty at Saint Louis University to earn the Rockhurst Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Cybersecurity.
Lower division course requirements:
Students fulfill 24 credits of lower division courses:
One 3 credit hour elective, chosen under the guidance of the department advisor
Total required credits: 60
Students must also take 12 additional hours of related upper division coursework. All courses should be selected in consultation with an advisor.
A minimum grade of C or better is required in all upper division coursework of the major. (A grade of C- will not fulfill the requirement).
