Adult-Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate

The Adult-Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate is offered through the same accelerated format as the MSN program.

Students who have completed lower level course requirements for the AG-ACNP may obtain a Certificate in Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.  The Certificate follows the same course sequence to complete all upper level course requirements. 

A “gap analysis” of the student’s previous work will be completed by the AG-ACNP track director in order to determine what requirements must be fulfilled to obtain the Certificate.

An overall GPA of 3.0 and minimum of 20 credit hours are both required to obtain the Certificate.
