College of Arts and Sciences
The minor program in History consists of 15 credit hours of history, six of which can also count for core curriculum credit.
The minor consists of three lower-division credit hours plus 12 hours of upper-division electives. The lower-divison hours for the minor can be satisfied with one Western or World Civilization course.
A 3000-level history course will count as three upper division hours toward the minor.
Upper-division electives must be completed with grades of C or better. (A grade of C- will not satisfy the requirement.) The student should consult closely with the history department chair in arranging the minor program of study. See History .
