Journalism Minor

The Prerequisites for the Minor in Journalism are:

• AR 1400 - Basic Photography (3)

• or

• JN 3450 - Photojournalism (3)

•  

• JN 2000 - Introduction to Journalism (3)

Upper Division Requirements:

Four upper-division courses must be selected from the following list:

• CT 4890 - Seminar in Mass Media (3)
• JN 3030 - Feature Writing (3)
• JN 3040 - Advanced Reporting and Editing (3)
• JN 3050 - Editing and Design (3)
• JN 3500 - Introduction to Public Relations (3)
• JN 4170 - Principles of Advertising (3)

Note(s):

A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course of the minor. (A grade of C- will not satisfy the requirement.)
