Students preparing for a career in the nonprofit sector will be awarded a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Rockhurst after sucessfully completing a minimum of 18 credit hours.

Lower Division Requirements:

The lower division requirement is a prerequisite to subsequent coursework.

NP 1110 - Introduction to Social Impact Leadership (3)

Upper Division Requirements:

Student’s choice of five of the following courses:

NP 4010 - Leading Mission Driven Organizations (3)
NP 4050 - Resource Development for Social Impact (3)
NP 4090 - Program Planning and Evaluation (3)
NP 4200 - Marketing Communications for Nonprofits in the Digital Age (3)
NP 4300 - Charitable Giving and Relationship Management Seminar (3)
NP 4970 - Internship and Professional Development (3-6)

Note(s):

A grade of C or better is required in each upper-division course of the certificate. (A grade of C- will not fulfill the requirement.)
