Marketing is a crucial part of any business, and it’s about more than just promoting products. Drawing from economics, psychology, sociology, and finance, it entails understanding the competition, connecting with customers, and building brand recognition. Marketing is a practical, career-oriented program that develops students’ creativity, logic, analytical skills, and general business acumen. The marketing minor consists of 12 hours, which students choose from 8 marketing electives, allowing students to customize a minor that meets their academic and professional interests. The marketing minor is a complementary course of study for many majors offered at Rockhurst University.
