The Rockhurst Ed.D. program in Education and Leadership provides four concentration areas: Health Care Education, Higher Education, K-12 Leadership, and Organizational Leadership.
The degree requires the completion of 78 graduate hours beyond the Bachelor’s degree, consisting of 45 credits of required and elective Rockhurst courses.
Official transcripts received may provide a maximum of 33 graduate transfer credits to fulfill the degree requirement of 78 hours. No transfer credits will be accepted towards the 45 credit hours required by Rockhurst (exception: ABD doctoral students).
ABD doctoral students admitted to the Ed.D. program may transfer in 15-credits towards required coursework. These students will then take an additional 30 Rockhurst credit hours to fulfill the 45 credits of required courses.
