OTD/MBA Dual Degree Program

Students seeking this dual degree will follow the course sequence for Occupational Therapy, OTD , located in Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences , and complete the following requirements for the MBA program, located in the College of Business and Technology , before graduation with both degrees. 

For the MBA component of the OTD/MBA dual degree program, students will be required to complete:

• The Business Administration Graduate Certificate *   (14 credit hours)
• One additional MBA Graduate Certificate of the student’s choice (minimum of 10 credit hours)- for the list of available graduate certificates see Business Administration, M.B.A.  
• OTD students will be able to apply 2 credits of the OTD Doctoral Capstone to their MBA Business and Management Capstone if the focus is within business and/or management in occupational therapy. The student will be required to consult with faculty from both the OTD and the MBA programs to ensure compliance with program specific requirements.
• For the remaining 1-4 credit hours needed to complete the 30-credit hour MBA requirement, students will be able to apply the following courses that are taken as part of the existing OTD curriculum:
  • OTD 6300  
  • OTD 6310
