Psychology Minor

Requires three foundational courses:

• PY 1000 - Introduction to Psychology (3)

• or

• PY 1100 - Honors Introduction to Psychology (4)

• BSS 2100 - Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences (3)

•  

• PY 3100 - Experimental Methods in Psychology (4)

• or

• PY 3110 - Research Methods in Psychology (4)

Upper-division courses:

Choose at least one upper-division course from three of the four Psychology department groupings (for a minimum of three classes and 9 credit hours).

See Psychology, B.A.  for groupings. Note: PY 2400  will not count toward the minor.

Note:

A grade of C or better is required in all upper-division courses counted toward fulfillment of the minor requirements. A grade of C- will not satisfy the requirement.
