Philosophy, Bioethics Minor

Total Philosophy Hours Required: 15

Students must complete one lower-division foundational Philosophy course along with four of the following upper-division courses for a total of 15 Philosophy credits:

• PL 3775 - Religion and Science (3) or
• PL 3840 - Philosophy of Technology (3) or
• PL 3850 - Philosophy of Science (3)

• and

• PL 4500 - Ethical Problems (3) or
• PL 4665 - Environmental Ethics (3) or
• PL 4700 - Contemporary Bioethics (3)

• and

• One lower-level foundational Philosophy course 2xxx or higher (3)
• One upper-division elective with an ethics or science component (3)
• One approved science-related course from another discipline (3)
