MT 1030 - Finite Mathematics (3) A college-level math course based on a background in algebra presenting mathematical techniques to solve a variety of problems. Topics may include: linear equations and inequalities, including optimization through linear programming; mathematics of finance including compound interest; discrete probability based on counting methods, conditional probability; expected value and descriptive statistics.
Recommended: at least three years of mathematics in grades 9-12 or MT 0100 . (MTP)
