AC 4800 - Fraud Examination (3) This course provides students the ability to identify, detect, investigate, and prevent financial fraud. Specific topics include who commits fraud and why, fraud prevention, data-driven fraud detection, investigating theft acts, investigating concealment acts, financial statement fraud, fraud against organizations, consumer fraud, and legal resolutions. Special projects will be assigned using software to perform forensic accounting investigations.
Prerequisite: AC 2000 , AC 2100 , AC 3500 or equivalent.
