AN 3500 - Thailand: Peoples and Cultures

This course is an exploration of the cultures of Thailand through first-hand observation and participation in the lives of Thai people. This class employs an anthropological research method called “participant observation” as a tool to engage and introduce students to culturally diverse groups of people who call themselves “Khon Thai” (Thai people).

Prerequisite: AN 1000 , or GS 1000 , or instructor permission.
