CJ 3100 - Corrections (3) The history, theory, practice and legal environment of corrections is the focus of this course. Topics covered include the development of correctional philosophy, incarceration and prison systems, community-based corrections, treatment of offenders, and alternative approaches.
Prerequisite: CJ 1000 and CJ 2000 .
