TH 4444 - Feminine Face of God

This course explores the use of feminine images for God throughout the centuries within mainstream Christianity—Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant. Students will study the historical and contemporary theological issues regarding gender language and conceptualizations about God.This course fulfills the Christianity requirement.

Prerequisite: TH 1000 , TH 1020 , TH 1050  or TH 2000 .
