BIA 6313 - Spatial Analysis

The primary objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of spatial analysis and its applications to business context. Students are introduced to geographic information system (GIS) operations to preprocess, map, and perform exploratory data analysis of geospatial data. In addition, students learn to conduct statistical analysis and build predictive models using spatial datasets. The primary software used in this course is R but other tools may be incorporated.
Prerequisite: BIA 6301 .
