PT 8900 - Complex Case Studies

This course is designed to integrate clinical knowledge and experiences, as well as facilitate clinical decision-making in complex situations. Students will identify, evaluate, and integrate the best evidence for practice with clinical judgment, while considering the patient/client perspective, the environment, and available resources. Students will synthesize content from across the curriculum and apply physical therapy interventions relevant to a complex case. The case will be presented to peers, faculty, and/or the community.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of DPT curriculum to date.
