AR 1400 - Basic Photography (3) A lecture-discussion-demonstration course designed to acquaint students with the basis of photographic principles and techniques as they apply to media production. The technical thrust is the application of such practical techniques as: camera operation, exposing Black-and-White film, processing Blackand-White film and printing Black-and-White prints. The fundamental emphasis of this study is a basic understanding of the concepts and uses of the qualities of captured light in time. A 35mm, fully adjustable, single lens reflex (SLR) camera is required.
