BL 4500 - Advanced Genetics (3) A lecture and discussion-based approach will incorporate the advanced conceptual and quantitative studies of genes and genomes in the context of their influence on evolution, with specific focus on published studies in model organisms. Topics will include non-Mendelian inheritance patterns, recombination and mutation, and advanced mapping analysis of human pedigrees.
Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in both BL 3610 and BL 3611 . Corequisite: BL 4501.
