BL 3450 - Embryology and Developmental Biology (3) The study of the origin and development of organisms (with emphasis on animals) through consideration of the embryonic processes and study of successive changes producing adult forms. Emphasis in lecture is on the nature of the processes which initiate and control development. Some time is also spent examining other developmental processes including aging, cancer and birth defects.
Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in BL 2930 /BL 2931 or BL 3400 /BL 3401 or instructor approval.
