CT 3000 - Listening Research (3) This course focuses on the four perspectives of listening: listening as affective, cognitive, behavioral, and relational. Emphasis on acquiring a solid understanding of the research that supports listening as the most widely used communication skill. Additional emphasis is on acquiring and demonstrating the skills to be an effective listener in a variety of contexts. Students will develop and conduct a semester-long interdisciplinary literature review of listening.
Prerequisite: CT 2000 .
