ED 6150 - Field Experiences and Action Research

(3)

This course introduces students to action research, a form of self-reflective systematic inquiry by practitioners on their own practice. The goals of action research are the improvement of practice, a better understanding of that practice, and an improvement in the situation in which the practice is carried out. The primary objective of this course is to prepare students to do action research in multicultural school settings via first-hand experience with research and reflections on how the research informs teaching practice. This course includes a non-credit hour field experience. Certification course.
