ED 6700 - Methods of Diagnosis and Instruction for Remedial Reading

The course focuses on ways to individualize instruction for diverse needs of students and adults who have difficulty reading and understanding texts necessary for school, work, civic life, or personal enjoyment. Students will review research on ways to support struggling readers and instructional strategies to develop fluency, comprehension, and word analysis strategies (including phonics).

Prerequisite: ED 6020 .
