PT 6825 - Professional and Leadership Development II

This course is the second in a four-course sequence designed to enhance student growth through professional and leadership development. The focus continues to be placed on interpersonal skills. Learning units address interpersonal issues such as empathy, compliance and dyadic conflict resolution, and a variety of communication contexts including communication with physicians, families, children, and the elderly patient. Additionally, principles of education as it applies to patient education and to teaching students in clinical situations are discussed.
